The Pastor’s Coalition, a direct extension of  Wake Up, has had an immediate and profound impact on the community and has led the way in improving what has long been acknowledged as a sub-standard public transportation system. The Coalition, along with Wake Up programming and original reporting, uncovered that the city was falling far short of a promise to improve. The attention shone a spotlight on the bus system and helped spur a change for the better. The Coalition has also taken a lead role in addressing the city’s entrenched problem of homelessness.

The Pastor’s Coalition meets every Tuesday at Mount Olive Baptist Church for lunch and empowerment from 1pm until 2pm.  Please join us for Prayer at 12:30 if your schedule permits.  Come late, leave early if you need, we understand you’re busy.
